It's in the bag!
| A lot of language therapy could be described as "language immersion." You learn language by hearing language, by being surrounded by language. If I am teaching a child about prepositions, I don't start with a definition, I start with examples. |
"Each Greetings-in-a-Bag set is perfect for family fun with language learning activities. " |
| "Put the egg in the basket."
"Put the egg next to the basket." "Put the egg under the basket." |
Sometimes the kids would get tired of twenty questions with an egg and a basket, so I started having them make pictures. In the fall, we would make a picture using leaves. At Thanksgiving, we would make a picture with turkeys and pilgrims. At St Patrick's Day, we would make a picture with shamrocks. The kids loved it; it was something they could keep. And they were so proud to show their parents what they had made.
| That's where Greetings-in-a-Bag® started. I was collecting everything together. I had my lesson plans typed out with everything from prepositions, to rhyming words, to color association and categories. And, it's all in the bag, along with 4 cards and 4 matching envelopes. | ![]() |

such as discriminating colors and shapes, counting, categories and grouping,

and associative thinking.
And when you're done, you have 4 great handmade cards to send to grandma or grandpa, aunt, uncle, or anyone.
